How katanapdf processes your files

katanapdf processes PDF files entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your file is never uploaded to any server. Every editing operation — text changes, annotations, merging, splitting, signing — happens locally on your device.

What we collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit the contents of any PDF you open. We do not require an account, login, or personal information of any kind to use the editor.

Analytics and ads

We may serve advertisements through third-party providers such as Google AdSense. These providers may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Fonts

katanapdf loads fonts from Google Fonts. This means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to download the typefaces used in the interface.
